Internship Program on Capitol Hill (Washington, DC Office):
The internship program in Senator Burr's Washington office consists of two semester-long sessions in the spring and fall, three sessions during the summer months. During their time in Washington, D.C., interns participate in a wide array of activities ranging from constituent services and conducting U.S. Capitol tours to legislative research. In addition, interns are encouraged to enjoy the many other activities Washington, D.C. offers. Applicants are generally college students from the State of North Carolina, and preference is given to upperclassmen studying political science, economics, and international relations.
