2021 Presidential Inauguration Ticket Request

The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies JCCIC, in consultation with public health and medical experts and the Presidential Inaugural Committee, has determined that this global pandemic and the rise in COVID-19 cases warranted the difficult decision to limit attendance at the 59th Inaugural Ceremonies to a live audience that resembles a State of the Union. Plans are in the making now for enhanced opportunities to watch the ceremonies online, in addition to the traditional televised national broadcast.

The JCCIC is a bipartisan, bicameral committee led by Chairman Roy Blunt, Senators Mitch McConnell and Amy Klobuchar, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Representatives Steny Hoyer and Kevin McCarthy.  They would traditionally distribute hundreds of tickets to Congressional offices for distribution to constituents.  Unfortunately, that will not be the case for this ceremony, as the Committee will be issuing only one ticket to each Member of Congress and one guest.  Therefore, I am unable to fulfill requests for tickets.

At this time, we do not have any information about the Inaugural parade or Inaugural balls, including whether or not they will even happen.  I encourage you to check for updates at  http://inaugural.senate.gov for updates as they become available
