Senate Intel Chairman Burr Statement on FBI’s Decision to Review Newly Uncovered Sec. Clinton Emails

WASHINGTON — Today, Senator Richard Burr (R-NC), Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, made the following statement on Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey’s letter to Sen. Burr, and other chairmen, on the FBI’s decision to investigate new and potentially classified emails that may be connected to the personal server of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton:

“I believe the American people deserve to have a full accounting of Secretary Clinton’s practices and a complete picture of her actions as Secretary of State. We should allow this to go through the complete processes, this time including all of the emails on Clinton’s server.”
