Advisory: Senate Intel Committee to Hold Open Hearing with Social Media Companies Next Week

WASHINGTON - Senate Intelligence Committee will hear testimony from Facebook, Twitter, and Google in open session on Wednesday November 1, 2017.  This hearing is the latest in a series of hearings that focus on Russia’s interference in the 2016 U.S. elections.  The witnesses will address social media influence in the 2016 U.S. elections and what steps they are taking to mitigate foreign interference in the 2018 election cycle and beyond.
