Burr: Obama Budget Is A $2.1 Trillion Tax Hike, Doesn't Fix Country's Fiscal Problems

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) released the following statement in response to the President’s budget:

“Today, the President released another tax and spend budget that never balances. This time, it’s $2.1 trillion in new taxes for Americans while increasing the debt. The President’s budget is less of budget and more of a wish list for pricey spending programs favored by Democrats. The President continues to signal to the American people and Congress that he has no interest in working to alleviate the serious fiscal issues plaguing our country.”
