Senator Burr Statement on President Signing Bill to Care for Camp Lejeune Veterans and Families Into Law

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Richard Burr (R-North Carolina) issued the following statement regarding the President signing the Honoring America's Veterans and Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act of 2012 into law:
"I am very pleased that this bill has finally become law, and I would especially like to thank Jerry Ensminger, Mike Partain, and all of the advocates who fought tirelessly to expose this issue and right the wrongs that were done to this group of Americans. This is their day, and they deserve the credit for this victory. Without their dedication and devotion to help thousands of people they have never even met, these victims would not have the hope for a fuller life that this bill will hopefully bring them. God be with all of the victims of this tragic incident, and bless the brave, resolute, and determined men and women who fought to help those who are suffering because of it."
